BIO

Victor Alvarez is an Ecuadorian-born, Los Angeles-based photographer. He graduated from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island with an Honors Visual Art degree in 2019. While his decade-long involvement in Muay Thai has heavily influenced his early photographic direction, Victor’s personal photographs ultimately serve as documents of his lived experience. Leaning heavily towards portraiture, his work is often about identity, love, and a longing to discover more of both.
